We have been trying to get pregnant for over eight years. We have endured numerous medications and injections, major surgeries, one IUI procedure, two IVF retrievals, three IVF transfers (with two of our own embryos transferred), one transfer with eggs donated by my twin sister, an IVF miscarriage, and too many tears to count.

On our seventh year married, March 18, 2019, we transferred our only embryo from our second IVF retrieval. On March 25th 2019, I took a pregnancy test and for the first time ever, we saw two bright pink lines and we enjoyed pregnancy for a short time . Sadly, this pregnancy ended in a miscarriage.
Adoption
Adoption
Adoption has been on our hearts for a couple of years. It would come up in conversation between us, but we couldn’t find peace with it. It was not until Spring 2020 that we finally knew adoption is how we would grow our family and we would discontinue fertility treatments. We haven’t hesitated since.
